4 Ingredient Protein Banana Pancake

One of my favorite go-to recipes using the delicious Hemp Yeah Vanilla flavoured protein powder.
It’s packed with 20 grams of organic plant-based protein, has only 8 ingredients, is non-GMO and dairy free.
Single serving ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1.5 heaped tbsp organic pancake flour
- 1 heaped tbsp of Hemp Yeah protein powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp avocado oil

Instructions
1. Heat avocado oil in pan.
2. In the meanwhile mash 1 banana.
3. Add the egg, pancake flour, protein powder and mix.
4. Pour mixture onto the pan in the shape of circle.
5. When you see bubbles form on top it’s time to flip the pancake.
6. Enjoy! You can add a little maple syrup or enjoy on its own!

I’ve been super MIA on this account because I’ve been dealing with the worst pregnancy symptoms 🤦‍♀️ My first four moths I was eating whatever I could keep down, mainly fruit and plain carbs. I know many women struggle with the first trimester. I had lots of aversions to all the foods I used to love and found it very hard to eat my greens. I had to make the conscious effort to make sure I was getting a variety of nutrients. I’ll share tips on a later post on how I tried my best to incorporate nutrient dense foods while battling nausea.
The good new is as I now approach my seventh month things are finally getting better. Finally!!!! And I would like to share what I’ve been doing as well as the rest of my journey with all my followers!
